Today in meditation, Spirit gave me a simple message:
Relax and play.
Not everything is so serious.
As the message came through, I felt my head, heart, and hara clear. A lightness moved through me, and I felt full of joy, like a child waking up early on a summer morning and wondering what the day will bring.
The word “play” came to me twice. Along with the question: “Can mindfulness bring money to me?” So many people are looking for more money in their lives, maybe this will help them.
Instead of trying to force an answer, I felt invited to simply be curious like a child. To relax and play.
That was today’s mindfulness lesson.
Mindfulness does not always have to feel serious. Sometimes it feels like wonder. Sometimes it feels like joy. Sometimes it is the practice of staying open to possibility.
Today, I practiced relaxing.
Today, I practiced playing.
Tomorrow, I’ll practice again.
